Monetization and Ratings
Monetization and Ratings
CogniMesh is intended to support fair compensation for knowledge providers. The goal is not only access to expert context, but a healthier agentic economy around trusted knowledge.
Payment Models
Possible models include:
- Per request: each query has a small usage fee.
- Subscription: agents or organizations pay for continued access to a provider or category.
- Credits: consumers hold credits that can be spent across nodes.
- Sponsored access: institutions or funders support public-interest knowledge nodes.
Reputation Signals
Ratings should help agents choose sources before querying them. Signals may include provider reputation, user reviews, answer usefulness, freshness, uptime, and provenance quality.
Agent-Side Selection
Consumer agents should be able to compare sources by relevance, price, reputation, policy, and latency. A low-cost node may be enough for broad context, while a specialist node may be worth a higher price for narrow expert tasks.
